University of Leeds’ Cromer Terrace – Strength and Conditioning Facility

RICOMAN Lighting recently played a pivotal role in the refurbishment of Leeds University’s Cromer Terrace strength and conditioning facility. Tasked with proposing a lighting solution for the new gym fit-out, we agreed on the use of Estrella Pro linear lighting in a U-shaped style, featuring green LEDs to match the gym’s colour scheme. To provide seamless control and flexibility, we implemented a Casambi Bluetooth solution. The Estrella Pro linear system not only enhanced the gym’s ambience but also contributed to creating an energising atmosphere for workouts. Working closely with Richardson Electrical, the contractor for the project, as well as architects, designers, and project managers, RICOMAN LIGHTING ensured that every aspect of the lighting design met the space’s aesthetic and functional requirements. The newly refurbished Cromer Terrace now stands as a testament to the power of innovative lighting solutions in transforming spaces. Through our collaboration with Leeds University, we continue to push the boundaries of possibility, one light at a time.
