Windsor House

At Ricoman we have a long experience, knowledge and products that are ideal for office reception lighting design. In 2023 Ricoman were asked to put forward a proposal for a statement lighting arrangement for Windsor House.
The 123 year old building is home to over a 100 businesses in 75,000sq feet of office space. The office space is located centrally, only a few minutes’ walk from the charming Harrogate town centre. The building is newly renovated, preserving its timeless heritage with a modern look. The extensive refurbishment was provided with the help of one of Ricoman’s clients, R U Creative, who also share office space in the building.

A general principle when considering a reception lighting design is that pendant luminaires work as focal points in reception desks and define the office reception area. They therefore support orientation in the area. With this in mind, Ricoman’s Moon architectural pendant luminaires were used to restore a sense of the building’s original grandeur in the grand foyer and reception areas. The Moon fittings enhanced the light, airy feel and luxurious architecture of the reception area, complementing the natural light that comes through the large windows.
