Refrigeration Lighting
See how we light refrigeration lighting across the UK — specified, manufactured and delivered by our Manchester team.
Refrigeration lighting that cuts the cooling bill as well as the lighting bill
Every watt of lighting inside a chilled cabinet is heat the compressor then has to pay to remove, so the energy saving from efficient fittings is counted twice. Cold also suits LED in a way it never suited fluorescent, which loses a significant share of its output at freezer temperatures while an LED runs slightly more efficiently the colder it gets.
Our refrigeration fittings are slim linkable mini linear runs that sit in the mullion or under the shelf without blocking the view of the product, sealed against condensation and defrost cycles, and specified at a colour temperature and colour rendering that suits what is behind the glass, so fresh produce, meat and chilled drinks look the way they should. We can light the rest of the store too, from the aisles and back of house through to the cold store and emergency lighting.
Replacing a failed fitting in a live cabinet means clearing stock, so lifespan matters more here than the unit price does.
