A big government business office lighting project was added in RICOMAN’s portfolio around the end of 2020. This consisted of a comprehensive lighting solution for a high prestige client.

GovData is a market leader in Government business. Its aim is to provide specialist expertise to ensure businesses take advantage of the £378 billion spent each year on goods and services. The management and staff operate in a very informal dress down basis and the building is a small heaven. This is because offices include a games room, creche and a staff relax room. The last one features a fibre optic night sky panel and dog kennels.

GovData have recently relocated to a newly refurbished building at Centre Park Square, Warrington.

Warrington Electrical Services Ltd carried out the electric installation. Warrington Electrical Services chose to work with Ricoman alongside CP Electronics to deliver a comprehensive and innovative lighting solution.

Our team was more than happy to work for a government business office lighting project which was a bit different due to the company’s values and special character the lighting should reflect.

So, one of the highlights was using our linear range, Estrella Simplicity framing a night sky ceiling with all the filaments hanging down (work in progress). We aim the final result to be a fibre optic install which will twinkle at night and should look impressive. Other highlights are using the RGBW panel lights on some of the offices. Additionally, the choice of colours of walls etc add to the drama and are perfectly highlighted by our wall washer range.
