Local To You

Local lighting expertise, backed by UK manufacturing.

Ricoman works with specifiers, contractors, wholesalers and clients across the North West. We are based at Metroplex Business Park in Salford, minutes from MediaCity, which puts Manchester, Liverpool, Preston, Bolton, Warrington, Stockport and Chester on our doorstep.

A lot of our work in the region arrives by recommendation, which is what happens when the team is a short drive away: the Betfred Group headquarters refurbishment at Birchwood in Warrington, Crown House and Sandfield House in Wilmslow, and Parklands in Bolton.

Colin Shockledge, your North West Specification and Partnership Consultant, covers the region. He will review your layout, suggest fittings that suit both the space and the budget, and stay with the job from first enquiry through to delivery. You are also welcome to book an appointment to visit our headquarters.

Your North West team

Colin – Your North West Consultant

I’m Colin, and I’m the Specification and Partnership Consultant for Ricoman Lighting within the North West. Whatever your lighting needs, I’d be more than happy to help.

In-house lighting and technical teams

Our lighting design team can produce a full lighting layout as a complimentary service, with lux levels, uniformity and glare worked out against BS EN 12464-1, so the scheme can go straight to your client or contractor with the calculations attached. Our technical team is there throughout, and for reassurance if any issues arise after delivery.

Bringing spaces to life, on spec, on time and on budget.

We also build to order. Around half of what we sell is manufactured and assembled here in the UK by our expert production team.

  • Bespoke RAL finishes – matched to your scheme
  • Mounting and optics – suspended, surface or recessed, with beam angles to suit
  • Dimming and control – DALI, Casambi and more
  • Colour temperature – 2700K to 5000K, plus tunable white and RGBW
