Where is Galaxia suitable for?
Galaxia is an interior luminaire rated IP20, designed as a feature pendant for receptions, open plan offices, communal areas and similar spaces. The ring form gives both direct light onto the working plane and indirect light washing the ceiling, so it lifts the space above as well as lighting the floor below.
What wattage and light output does Galaxia deliver?
Galaxia is available in two wattages, each in two colour temperatures. At 70W it delivers 6337 lumens in 4000K or 5651 lumens in 3000K. At 35W it delivers 3255 lumens in 4000K or 2905 lumens in 3000K. Efficacy is approximately 93 lm/W at 4000K and 83 lm/W at 3000K. Output is split between direct and indirect, with the 70W version running 49W direct and 21W indirect.
Can Galaxia be dimmed or specified with emergency lighting?
Galaxia is non-dimmable as standard, with DALI, 0-10V and DSI dimming available as options. Integral 3 hour emergency can be specified, including DALI addressable emergency and Z10 remote control manual or advanced self-test versions. The emergency function carries a 3 year warranty against the standard 5 years on the luminaire.
What are Galaxia's core technical specifications?
Galaxia has a colour rendering index above 80, runs on 220 to 240V with internal drivers supplied, and carries CE, RoHS and UKCA certification. Standard warranty is 5 years.
