MODUS

Modus is a circular downlight that can be specified as surface mounted or, using the optional 1.5m pendant kit, suspended as a pendant fitting. This gives specifiers flexibility to use the same product in flush ceiling applications or dropped from a higher ceiling where a pendant look is preferred. It has a white or black aluminium body as standard, or custom RAL colour options also available.

Modus uses a glass diffuser with a TP(a) rating, a fire performance classification relevant to specifiers checking ceiling and diffuser material compliance on a project. Combined with its IP65 rating, this makes Modus suitable for areas needing both moisture resistance and a compliant diffuser material. The glass construction also gives a different visual quality compared with plastic diffusers.

Modus is available in two wattage options, 14W or 28W, and in 3000K or 4000K colour temperatures, giving flexibility to match different areas of a scheme. It is finished in white, black, or a custom RAL colour to order. Optional DALI dimming is available for projects requiring lighting control integration.

Modus carries an IP65 rating, giving it protection against dust and water jets, which suits bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas where moisture resistance is required. Its high efficacy of around 110 lm/W and CRI above 90 Ra mean it also performs well as general lighting in these spaces. Note that the DALI dimming and emergency versions are non-IP rated, so the full IP65 protection applies to the standard fixed-output fitting.

Modus is a smaller-scale downlight offered in 14W or 28W, suited to surface mounted or pendant installations in standard rooms. Modus Max shares the same white aluminium body and glass TP(a) diffuser concept but scales up to 70W, 100W, or 150W and is designed to be suspended by chain or rod in larger spaces. Specifiers needing higher output for larger areas should look to Modus Max, while Modus suits more typical room-scale applications.
