R3

R3 is described as an all-in-one fire rated IP65 downlight, combining fire protection, water resistance, and tunable colour temperature control in a single fitting rather than requiring separate accessories to achieve each feature. This simplifies specification and ordering for contractors who need one product to satisfy multiple performance requirements. It is available in tunable or fixed colour temperature versions depending on project needs.

R3 can be tuned from 3000K through to 5000K. A wall switch cycles through the settings in quick succession, moving from 3000K to 4000K to a dimmed night mode and on to 5000K, while a remote control smoothly dims from 100% down to 10% and adjusts colour temperature across the same range. This gives on-site flexibility to adjust the light to suit the time of day without rewiring or replacing fittings.

R3 offers a choice of four different bezels: white as standard, plus chrome, brushed chrome, and black options. This allows the same downlight platform to be finished to suit a range of different interior styles without changing the underlying fitting. It gives specifiers flexibility to match other metal finishes in a scheme.

R3 produces 591 lumens from a 6W fitting with a CRI above 90 Ra and a 55 degree beam angle. It carries an L70 B50 rated lifetime of 70,000 hours and is backed by a 5 year warranty, giving specifiers a documented basis for lifetime and colour performance expectations. Its IP65 rating supports use in areas where moisture resistance is required alongside fire performance.

R3 shares a remote control with the Centorio range that can operate up to 100 downlights per channel across 4 individually switched rooms or circuits, up to 400 downlights in total. This is useful on projects with multiple rooms needing consistent colour temperature and dimming control without a full building management system. It suits fit-outs where simple, centralised control of several fittings is required.

R3 and Core are both fire rated IP65 all-in-one downlights, but R3 offers continuous colour tuning from 3000K to 5000K with a 55 degree beam angle, a CRI above 90 Ra, and a 70,000 hour L70 B50 lifetime. Core is limited to a fixed switch between 3000K and 4000K, with a CRI above 80 Ra and a 50,000 hour L70 B50 lifetime. R3 also shares a remote control with Centorio for managing multiple downlights across several rooms.
